This state educational institution in Samara hosts 15 homeless kids
using interaction between the children in the outdoors environment to assist
their rehabilitation and adaptation into society.
The shelter employs 25 specialists and helps 150 homeless
and runaway kids a year who stay at the shelter from few hours up to two
years until their problem is resolved.

We thank Фонд Помощи Русским Сиротам "Восхождение" for their continuing support of our organization.
They are currently trying to raise money for our appliances and outdoors equipment.
Our rehabilitation program relies on self-regulation of the children's community in the
outdoors environment. Ascent has sent us money to buy summer shoes for our expedition in
June of this year. Buying these shoes was absolutely essential for continuation of our program.

I have known Kirill Bogouslavski, President of Фонд Помощи Русским Сиротам "Восхождение",
personally since 1985. He volunteered as a guide in our Tropa-86 humanitarian expedition in 1986.
He has stayed in touch and he has helped us financially in the past.
I wish Kirill the best of luck in his work.
