The Clintonville Community Market will hold a fundraiser in support of
building a shower for Hope
Children's Shelter
in St. Petersburg, Russia. This event will take place on Saturday,
November 1st from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm in front of our market. Activities will
include: a bake sale, bobbing for apples, pumpkin carving and live music plus
dancing (1-3pm). We will accept
donations for these goods and entertainment, all of which will go toward the
shower project.
This event is being supported through donations of time and money by Big Bear, Kroger, the
Clintonville Community Market, S.H.O.T.S (Students Helping Others Through Service) and several
individuals in this community. We appreciate the effort and care these groups of people have
shown in order to support this event. We anticipate gathering a significant amount of money
through this fundraiser so that we can speed the process to our goal of $2800.
