Project Description
The Snezhnoye Orphanage is located in a very poor town in a remote region of Ukraine. As a result, this orphanage has many unmet needs. Snezhnoye is home to 35 children ages 2-17. Four years ago they neeed to replace their ancient heating system. The boiler they were given was used and already was rusted and leaking, but they had no other alternative so it was installed. There is no way to adjust the temperature on the boiler. It can only be turned on or off and results in either extereme cold or sweltering heat. We would like to purchase and install a new electric boiler for the orphanage so that they can improve the daily lives of the kids.

**2010 Update - Installation of the boiler cannot happen until spring due to local regulations imposed on the orphanage. However, they are immediately being required to replace the two main exterior doors at considerable cost and are asking for our assistance. We are including the cost of the doors with this project and will fully fund the project in late March or early April.**

Project’s Budget:
2 Insulated Exterior Doors - 16,000 ($2,000)
Electric Boiler - 25,000 GR ($3,333)
Replace Fencing - 16,000 ($2,000)
Logistics & Wire Fees- 2,600 GR ($217)
Grand total: 43,600 GR ($7,550)
