Some of the shelters that we support cannot afford holiday presents
for their kids. Christmas was never widely celebrated, but New Year's is very special
for kids in Russia. According to tradition, kids receive little bags with candy,
chocolate, an apple and an orange. We estimate $10 per gift for 35 kids, but we will send
them to share whatever we can raise by 12/31/03.
