Family Hearth Commune is organizing a series of Christmas festivites for the Vladivosotok orphans. They organize, conduct and pay for all related expences. They are asking for funds to buy Christmas gifts for the orphans. According to an old Russian tradition kids receive a plastic baggy with candies, chocolate apple and an orange as a Christmas gift. Cost of one bag is 200 Russian Roubles (about $7.15). So far 400 children in 4 orphanages are included in the selebration including Orphanage #1 (60 kids), Orphanage #2 (137 kids), Mayak (Lighthouse) Shelter (53 kids) and Parus (Sail) Shelter (150 kids). More orphans will receive presents if we are able to raise more money.
