Project Description The orphanage “Children’s Hope” was established in 2003. Despite poor financing, the director and staff of the orphanage have been trying to provide the orphans with all necessities and to create comfortable living conditions and educational environment for them. The most urgent problem for the orphanage “Children’s Hope” is its old windows and sewerage that need to be replaced. The building, occupied by the orphanage, is old (it was built in 1973) and has not been renovated for a long time. As a result, sewerage and old wooden windows have deteriorated and need to be urgently replaced. It is necessary to purchase and install 46 small windows and 80 meters of sewer pipes. The orphanage is in a great need of computers and at least one printer (the only one old computer is in the director’s office). There is no internet in the orphanage. Neither staff nor children have an opportunity to become computer-literate and apply or use this important knowledge in their daily lives. In addition, the yard of the orphanage needs to be fenced because strangers often trespass on the land, which is unsafe for the children.
