Project name: “Without fuel like without water”. The project is aimed to provide Commune's machinery with fuel and oil.
Target group: Commune's orphanages and social orphanages in need of social rehabilitation.

Home Family Commune's rehabilitation center accommodates permanently from 6 to 8 orphanages. Commune's “day stay” department usually accommodates about 40-50 kids. The Governor of St. Petersburg helped Commune to buy a tractor (MTZ-82) to service agricultural activities. This present allows Commune's residents to produce foodstuff enough to subsist on. However, to service all agriculture works such as hay preparation, fodder, potato and vegetation growing, storing-up fire woods, delivery of water, and some other necessities, the Commune needs diesel fuel and oil.

The tractor, used by the Commune, performs the following agricultural works:
1. Plowing and cultivating of the land, delivery and distribution of manure and fertilizers to the field, harvesting of vegetables and potato and their removal from the 1,561 acres of fields (5 hectares).
The use of diesel fuel is 132 gallons (500 liters)

2. Haying for cattle (hay moving, tossing, making a hay stack, pressing and its subsequent removal from 4,682 acres of fields (15 hectares).
The use of diesel fuel is 211 gallons (800 liters)

3. Delivery of a 396 gallon (1.5 tons) water tank from a water source 1.2 miles away (2 km) in order to supply water for irrigation of 1 acre (0.5 hectare) used for growing vegetables, provide water for 15 heads of cattle and the needs of residents including washing clothes and dishes, cooking and sanitary needs.
The use of diesel fuel is 26 gallons (100 liters)

4. Delivery of firewood used in the summer kitchen for cooking.
The use of diesel fuel is 52 gallons (200 liters)

5. Use of tractor for various small farm chores.
The use of diesel fuel is 26 gallons (100 liters)

Total use of diesel fuel for the 5 month period is 449 gallons (1,700 liters).

6. The use of irrigation machine for watering the vegetable garden and fields.
The use of gasoline type A-76 fuel is 132 gallons (300 liters)

7. The use of truck GAS-3129 for delivery of produce and other necessities for residents from St Petersburg to the village 156 miles (250 km) away. Average monthly mileage is 1,250 (2,000 km) uses about 132 gallons (300 liters) of fuel.
