Project Description
The Gorlovka Infant Hospital has a special department dedicated to the treatment and care of orphans from birth to age of four. The construction of the hospital began in 1990 but was halted for some years due to the extreme economic hardships experienced during the colapse of the Soviet Union. Construction was finally complete in 1998, but many of the materials used were of low grade quality and are now starting to fall apart. The hospital encounteres severe drafts throughout most of the year due to the poor quality of the windows. We have supplied them with a few electric space heaters in the meantime but the windows need to be replaced in order create better living conditions for the newborns.

Project’s Budget:
27 windows @ 2,603 GR each - $14,796
Bank wire fee - $50
Grand total: $14,846
