Project Description
Devyatkov's foster home was created on April, 8th 2011. After working for 11 years in the orphanage "Nadezhda" (Hope) in the city of Gorlovka, Donetsk region, I came to the conclusion that even the best of orphanages cannot replace the comfort of a fireside and the love and affection of a mother and a father in the heart of parentless children.

Last year, my wife Elena Nikolayevna and I decided to take care of such children. In my country, it is legally impossible to create a family children's home without the administrative denomination of a foster home. What's more, our current housing conditions do not fit the legal requirements for family children's homes. I recently managed to acquire the house, but I need financing in order to reach the proper level of comfort for the children by enlarging the floor area and renovating the house. In the future we plan to adopt 4 to 6 more orphans and parentless children.
