The shelter reports that the kids are very happy and want to take showers day and night nonstop! 12 children living in this shelter had no shower. The room used as a laundry was available, but the tile was falling off and the roof was leaking. The kids did all painting and other supporting work to minimize the construction costs.

Actual Cost
Actual cost was much less than the original estimate because another charity from Finland paid for all construction expenses including tile and other materials.

Dear friends!

From all of my heart I would like to thank all of the great caring people that helped us build a shower at the Nadezhda Homeless Children Shelter. 12 kids living at the shelter have always needed the shower, but we did not have the money to make this dream come true. Now, however, thanks to you, the kids can take a shower any time of the day. The shower room is small, but modern and very comfortable for our boys. Now, we don't even have to remind them of the rules of hygiene, they jump in the shower with great enthusiasm. Thank you so much! When kids who have already graduated from the shelter come by for visits, they envy that they did not have the opportunity to have a great shower like the boys do now.

We all bow to you for this great gift from your heart! And once again, thank you from all the children and co-workers.
