Svalyava Infant Orphanage

The regional baby orphanage can be found in the village of Svaliava. It is run by the Minestry of Health. The centre cares for, educates and offers medical attention to those who've found themselves orphaned as well as helping children with intelectual or physical deficiencies.

The baby orphanage opened its doors on June 1st 1980. During the 30 years the centre has been open, children living there from birth up to 3 years have been getting the support, care and attention that they so need. Today the orphanage cares for 110 children. The workers at the orphanage are all profesionals in their associated fields and work under the direction of the principal doctor, Tarasov Victor Petrovich.

Children at the orphanage are given a healthy and balanced diet prepared in house at the orphanage.

Unfortunately much of the electro domestic appliances in the kitchen are in dire need of replacement or repair. For this reason, the administration of the regional baby orphanage in Svaliava requests economic assistance.
