Financial donations to iOrphan are the best way to assist needy children.

Donations of goods and services, though well intentioned, have hidden costs and pose a number of complications for relief efforts. For these reasons, we are unable to accept items, such as used clothing, hygiene items, furniture, toys and canned goods. iOrphan has neither the resources, nor the logistical set-up, to process these types of donations properly. It is almost always more beneficial to buy required items locally. However, if you have specific items and willing to ship them to an orphanage we can help you coordinate this process.

iOrphan will sometimes accept bulk donations of items or medical supplies that are immediately needed for an ongoing children relief operation. "Bulk donations" refer to large donations of a single product, and are typically provided by companies that manufacture or distribute the product and have the resources to ship it directly to the disaster site. If your company has a large bulk donation that you think would aid our relief efforts, please contact us directly.

We will gladly accept any of the following items. You can deduct full estimated value of all these items on your tax return:

Auction items
You can donate auction items like vacation packages, nights out on the town, concert tickets, etc.

Car
You can deduct full blue book value of your donated car.

Laptop computers, photo or video cameras
Currently laptop computers, digital photo and video cameras are needed by orphanages to develop their educational programs. These items can be taken to Russia duty-free by our staff.

Airline frequent flyer miles
We pay for all expenses including travel out of our own pocket. We could use your frequent flyer miles (25,000 miles or more) to help us buy tickets for our orphanage visits in Russia.
